ABOUT GOD
There is only one living and true God, the Creator and the Ruler of the universe. He has revealed Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence and being.

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ, Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of virgin Mary. As such, He was both completely human and divine in nature. Though tempted in flesh, He was without sin in both nature and conduct. In His death on the cross, He made provision for the redemption of humanity from sin and death. He was raised from the dead and ascended into heaven where He now is seated at the right hand of the Father.

The church was founded by Jesus Christ and includes all of the redeemed. The New Testament speaks of the church as the body of Christ. The ultimate purpose of God for the church is to be the bride of Christ and family (children) of God ( Ephesians 5:22-32 ; Revelations 19:7 , 21:2,9; Rom. 8:2 ; Eph. 1:5 ) – a people who will live in perfect love, obedience, and fellowship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The immediate purpose of the church is to be:ABOUT THE CHURCH
1.) A fellowship of redeemed men and women bounded together by the Spirit of God for worship, fellowship, edification, to care for every member of the body of Christ. The two ordinances practiced by the church are water immersion and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism is the immersion of the believer in water signifying his death to sin and new life in Christ ( Colossians 2:12 ). The Lord’s Supper memorializes the death of Jesus and expresses faith in His return to earth ( 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 ).
2.) A center for witness and manifestation of God through which the love of God may be proclaimed and demonstrated. The church exists to “ make disciples of all nations ” ( Matthew 28:19-20 ) . Every believer is a disciple of God equipped with spiritual gifts and abilities to build up the church and win the spiritually lost to Christ.
