Vision & Mission

Multitudes of Disciples of Jesus Christ

The vision of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship is to see multitudes (communities, crowds and large numbers ) of people live as devoted disciples of Jesus Christ.

Revelations 7:9-10 – After this I looked and before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

Acts 5:14 – Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number.

Win Souls and Make Disciples

Lighthouse Christian Fellowship exists to intentionally and radically win souls and make disciples of Christ.

Matthew 28: 19-20 – Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Every Believer a Leader of Leaders

We believe leadership is not a position we occupy but an influence we exert. We believe that God has a wonderful plan for every believer and that through an encounter with God, training in the Word and mentoring by another leader, every believer can become a person of influence in his family, community, business, and ministry.

We will accomplish our mission by empowering every believer within the church to be a lighthouse of God, embodying the values and principles of Lighthouse.

Apostolic Life Group Church

Lighthouse Christian Fellowship is an apostolic life group church. Christian life and ministry is experienced primarily in the life-changing small groups called life groups. For greater growth and ministry effectiveness, life groups are organized under life group networks within the church.

Acts 2:44-47 – All believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Everyday they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Exodus 18:17-21 – Moses’ father-in-law replied, “What are you doing is not good. You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone. Listen now to me and I will give you some advice, and may God be with you. You must be the people’s representative before God. And bring their disputes to Him. Teach them the decrees and laws, and show them the way to live and the duties they are to perform. But select capable men from all people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials, hundreds, fifties and tens.

Win – Consolidate – Disciple – Send

Our strategy at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship is to develop a movement of life groups and daughter life churches that will fulfill the Great Commission for the harvest in Davao, Philippines and other parts of the world. In order to fulfill our mission of winning souls and making disciples, the life groups will be engaged in the following four-stage strategic process – WIN, CONSOLIDATE, DISCIPLE and SEND.

Mark 3:13-15 – Jesus went up on a mountainside and called those he wanted, and they came to Him. He appointed twelve—designating them as apostles—that they maybe with Him and that He might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons.

John 15:16 – You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in My Name.

2 Timothy 2:2 – And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.

We are the regular cool guys in the offices, the smiling women in the malls, the friendly businessmen in the coffee shops, the hip hardworking salesmen in the car park, the nice people of the marketplace, and the high energy youth in the streets. We are the ordinary people with an extraordinary God. We burn with God’s passion. We are caught by His vision. We want to make God happy. We are the faceless and the nameless followers of Jesus Christ.
