Conquering Life’s Challenges
1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Life is not a bed of roses! Life is beautiful, though it is not always easy. There are challenges that come our way. There are trials and storms. But the trials and difficulties can contribute to the beauty of life, if we see them with a correct mindset.
Life has its challenges. Trials can come in the area of finances, health, relationships, ministry, or career. They can come in easy times, or they can come in already hard times. The potential for damage can be there. Some loss may be experienced. One’s faith may be tested.
But God remains faithful. If you maintain a right heart (or return to a right heart in case you became bitter for a while), the Lord can heal your situation and restore what was lost. He can even give the lost things but increase it. What is important is that you honor the Lord even when you are going through trial. Say “no” to the temptation to blame God or be bitter with God. Refuse the lie that you are cursed because you are evil. Choose to hang on to the good and right things you know about God. The storm will pass (it will not last forever). And you will come out a better person. And what was lost can be restored.
Today, we want to look at the life story of a man who was severely tested. He went through unbelievable trials. He wavered in his faith a little bit, but he returned to a solid faith in God’s goodness and righteousness. And, in the end, he was given back what he lost, but this time it was double of what was lost. He became a winner in his character. His circumstances became tremendously better because of his faith in a good and righteous God.
God has blessing for whatever kind of need you have today! Just let go and let God, and see God’s goodness and power change you and eventually your situation!
