Supernatural. That’s a correct way to describe things when and where the Holy Spirit is at work. Things go beyond human dimensions and limitations, and earthly constraints. Where the Holy Spirit is invited or allowed to freely do what he wants, heavenly kinds of things can happen.
Today let us talk about the exciting ways the Holy Spirit moves on the earth. Let’s see how he does things that can only be described as miraculous. The Holy Spirit is God, the third person of the Trinity. As such, he is able to do so much more that all we can ask or imagine according to his great power that is at work within us.
Spiritual gifts are supernatural abilities that are given to children of God for the purpose of reaching people who don’t know God and for strengthening and maturing the people of God. Every son or daughter of God has at least one spiritual gift. These are called “gifts” to emphasize that we have them not because we buy them or acquire them by human effort, but because they are completely given to us by the grace of God. These spiritual gifts are abilities given by the Lord to enable us to serve him effectively. Today we will seek to know these amazing divine enablement through a quick overview.
As we seek to allow God to grow the revival work he has began in us, let us get to know the precious Holy Spirit more. Let us get closer to him until he becomes like our best friend. Let’s allow him to bring us to greater intimacy with Jesus Christ, our Bridegroom and the Lover of our souls. Then let us know and use the spiritual gifts given to us by God. Let us know the spiritual gifts of others in our spiritual family and allow a full flow of God’s spiritual workings in our relationships and activities.
Dear Lighthouse family, we have entered a very exciting season as a church. Whatever the end of it may be, be sure that it’s going to be glorious. Let Christ be Lord of every part of our lives and ministries. And let the Holy Spirit teach, guide, and empower us toward the great works of God until Christ’s Great Commission is completely fulfilled. This is a thrilling journey of faith, obedience, and the supernatural. And it is very exciting, deeply fulfilling, and richly rewarding.
The Lord richly bless you, your family, and your ministry.
