SURRENDERED, NOT COMMITTED (Galatians 2:20; Romans 12:1 – 2) WHY SURRENDER TO THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST?

  3. Because of rewards and punishments (2 Timothy 4:8; Matthew 25:41, 46)
HOW TO SURRENDER TO THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST
  1. Welcome Jesus Christ (all of him) (Col 2:6; Jn 1:12)
  2. Deny yourself, carry your cross daily, and follow Jesus Christ (Matthew 16: 24 – 26; Mark 8:38)
  3. Make Jesus first (priority) in your life (Matthew 19:21; Deuteronomy 13:4)
  4. Fix your focus, consistently move forward, and don’t look back (Luke 9:59 – 62)
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU SURRENDER TO THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST
  1. You receive true salvation (Romans 10:9 – 10)
  2. You can serve God in simpler, happier, and lighter ways (Matthew 11:28- 30)
  3. You can have victory over sin, Satan, and the world (Revelation 12:11; 1 Peter 5:7)
