Building a Bigger, Better, and Stronger Life  Through An Organized & Consistent Prayer Life Psalms 91:14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation." Most people are either building their lives or repairing their lives. People who are building their lives are proactively working to establish for themselves, their families, and for the Lord and their ministries lives that are continuously going up and becoming better each year. These people identify worthwhile goals and give everything that is within their power to accomplish those good and godly objectives. On the other hand, people who are repairing their lives are usually just reacting to their situations. They are often caught unprepared. They are not thinking seriously about their lives and giving their energies to achieving positive outcomes. They suffer from the same problems over and over again. The same troubles plague them year after year. They spend much of their lives and most of their energies fixing situations instead of building lives that are secure and safe from avoidable problems and troubles. The Lord wants you to be building a bigger, better, and stronger life - personally and in your family and ministry. In every area of life, the Lord wants you to be enjoying instead of enduring. Our theme for our 10th year church anniversary, “A New Beginning: Bigger. Better. Stronger” is not just for the church - for us as a body or group - but it is also for you and me in our individual and family situations. God wants you to move forward toward a progressively better future. He wants our lives to improve, not deteriorate, as the years go by. Specifically, we will look at the role of prayer in building lives that are bigger, better, and stronger for the glory of God. Our goal is for each one to embrace God’s call for an organized and consistent prayer life. “Organized” means we follow some system of praying through the concerns of our lives, of our families, of our ministries, and of other concerns (societal peace and transformation through the gospel and good government, etc). “Consistent” refers to us praying regularly. An organized and consistent prayer life will empower our efforts to build bigger, better, and stronger lives that bring honor to God. The Lord has a gift for you today! Receive it by opening your heart to him, seeking him, and allowing him to be God in your life. Enjoy a wonderful weekend!   Lathur Badoy
