Faithfulness in Serving God

Posted on August 28, 2018July 29, 2024

Matthew 25:29 Everyone who uses what they have will get more. They will have much more than they need. But people who do not use what they have will have everything taken away from them.

Our awesome and wonderful Lord deserves to be worshipped and served! He made us as creation who have qualities that make us resemble him in some real ways. He made a beautiful earth and glorious skies. He richly provides for us. His glory can be seen all around us. He is the great Lord, and praise is due to him for his excellence and glory. He did not leave us on our own. When humanity was hopeless and helpless because of its rebellion and sins against the great Creator and Lord, the Lord rescued us by sending his only Son, Jesus Christ. He did this because of his great love for us. We owe him our salvation and our future. We serve him because of gratitude for his great kindness to us. Serving God faithfully is what God expects from you and me. It is the right response because we understand that God owns us because he made us and paid the price (redeemed us) for our freedom/salvation. We are servants of God because we belong to him. The Lord calls us to serve him faithfully, to serve him the best way we can. He has given us opportunities, resources, and abilities. Let us use them to accomplish God’s purposes on the earth. One day, Jesus Christ will return to earth to establish his literal kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy. He will reward those who served him faithfully. And those who did not serve him faithfully will suffer loss. We will be rewarded if we continue to be faithful. Today is a good day to enjoy God’s goodness! Receive God’s touch in your life as you offer your life to him. God takes very good care of those who live in obedience to his commands. Enjoy God’s blessing in your life today!   Lathur Badoy
