Making all nations the followers of Jesus Christ

The Lord is expanding us in many ways as a spiritual family. We live in very exciting times and can look forward to many wonderful things in the months and years ahead. The Lord is birthing new things and we are about to see some of them. Part of the wonderful things that the Lord is doing is expanding our understanding of our mission on the earth. He is showing us that our mission is not just to produce followers of Jesus IN all nations, but to actually make ALL the nations the followers of Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20). Because Jesus Christ has authority over earth and its affairs, he sends us to sort of implement his right to rule in all the nations of the earth. Jesus wants God’s rule in heaven to also happen on earth (Matthew 6:10). This involves reaching and influencing the various aspects of culture that shape the values and behavior of people. Follow the concept of the “Seven Mountains of Culture”, Christ-followers are to manifest the reality and power of the rule (kingdom) of God in government, business, education, family, media, arts and entertainment, and religion/church. Each of these molders of a nation’s identity and lifestyle must be transformed by the power of the gospel so that a nation can be correctly describes as a nation whose God is the Lord. As a child of God, you are called to influence at least one of the seven mountains of culture. Know where God has called you and manifest the kingdom of God (righteousness, peace, joy, love, power, etc) there. If you are an artist or musician, be an excellent godly musician for the Lord in the art or music world. If you are a businessman, be the most successful businessman that you can possibly be and tell people that the secret of your success is the Lord. In every sphere of life, be what God has made you to be, enjoy what you do, and be God’s agent to transform your world for God. The time has come. All hands on deck, please, as we allow the favor of God and the power of God to work in and through our lives so that our nation (and other nations as well) will become the followers of Jesus that God wants them to be.
