The bigger the problem, the better the good news is. In life-and-death situations, the good news is everything to the people who desperately need it. You and I are carriers of good news. And what is this news? The good news is that there is now a solution to man’s previously unsolvable problem of sin that results to the most serious and never ending consequences of separation from God and all that is good. For thousands of years, mankind tried to find a cure to the most deadly virus of sin/rebellion against God. They failed. Religion is man’s way of trying to have a favorable standing before the great Creator-Judge. Religion failed. But God made a way where there was no way! He sent his holy Son, Jesus Christ, to earth. God put all the sins of all people on Jesus Christ and punished Jesus for them. Jesus’ death was the payment that makes possible the restoration of man’s favorable standing before the holy and great God. You and I who have are trusting in and following Jesus Christ have been restored to a right standing with God. And we are now the carriers of this marvelous news to others. Today, we will look at 3 big reasons why we should tell others about Jesus Christ. God’s great love for people compels us. The need for the life-saving news of salvation requires it. And God’s command for his followers to take the good news to people in all corners of the world is something we cannot just ignore. Let’s tell the world the good news about Jesus Christ! It’s the reasonable thing to do. We will enjoy it. People’s lives will be changed by it. And the Lord will have the followers (disciples) from all nations of the world that he deserves as the Supreme Ruler (Lord) of all.
