I want security. You want it too. In a world filled with uncertainties, the feeling of being secure (safe and provided for) is a psychological necessity. Without security (the feeling of being okay now and in the future), we cannot be fully happy and healthy. Thank God that because of Jesus Christ and his death on the cross of Calvary for all humanity, you and I who believe in him and follow him have security. We have nothing to fear or worry about. We can sleep well at night knowing that our lives are protected, guided, and richly provided for by our loving Father in heaven. Our minds are peaceful, our hearts are at rest, and our bodies are relaxed because God cares for us and takes care of us. Are you worried about some things? Are you afraid as you look to the future? There’s good news for you: You don’t have to be worried or fearful! If you are following Jesus Christ, God is the shepherd (the one who takes care of you). And with him by your side, you have everything you need. You are secure! I encourage you to make sure that you have a living relationship with God. That honors God. And that ensures that your life is well taken care of! Throughout your earthly life, you will experience the wonderful care of your heavenly Father. And when the time comes for you to leave this earth, you will be welcomed into the eternal blessings and rewards of heaven!
