Luke 2:52 “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”
Most people agree that we are to lead balanced, wholistic lives! That’s good. Many people think that they are living balanced, wholistic lives even though they are not. That is not good. Today we want to take steps to restore balance or holism to our lives. This may not sound very spiritual, but this is a topic that needs to be talked because it is truly important. The consequences of a lack of balance or holism are serious enough that we should not take holism for granted. When you and I live as God designed and want us to, we can live in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. When we don’t, we can break up or fall apart in some area of our lives. The result may be not only the lack of righteousness, peace, and joy, but the development of their opposites in our lives. We can find ourselves unpleasantly surprised that though we used to be godly, relaxed, and positive, we have slowly become morally loose/compromising, tense, & negative about life or people. Your ability to live wisely & strategically, your physical longevity, your worship to God, and your witness to & enjoyment of people are impacted in very strong ways by your lifestyle (how you habitually live each day). So let us be candid, open, and willing to change so that we can make positive adjustments that will result to lives that reflect the abundant life that God wants us and everyone else to enjoy. May the Lord richly bless you, your family, and ministry! Lathur Badoy
