Proverbs 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
This is a day that the Lord has made. In store are graces and gifts from heaven as you open your heart to the Lord. Today the Lord wants to do a change in your heart. He wants to do a work of healing, restoring, softening, filling, and more. Truth to tell, we all need a touch from God on our hearts. For some it may simply a filling because we feel a bit empty, or a refreshing because we just feel stressed out. For others it may be a healing because our hearts are so wounded from so much rejection, or a softening because our hearts are so hardened as a result of much betrayal. Some of us have given up on any kind of “true love” be it from family, friends, or a potential spouse. “Walang forever” is a phrase we hear around us. And because we have experienced or seen parents separate, family members leave, “best friends” being untrue, or a special someone having another lover while in a relationship with us, our confidence can be shattered. We can become skeptical and build up high emotional walls so as to protect ourselves from being hurt again. But there is a better way to live. And the Lord wants to help you and me to lead lives that are satisfying, free, meaningful, and whole. He wants us to feel truly and deeply loved. And he wants us to have the pleasure of loving others in faithful & happy relationships. This all begins with a change of heart inside each one of us. And if you are willing to open your heart and ask God to do a work of healing, restoring, softening, filling, or something else, you will begin a journey of change that will bring much joy to your life.
