Attitudes That Will Bring Success in 2016 – Part 2
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
As you do your part in pursuing good and godly things this New Year 2016, you are partnering with God for great things in your life this year and beyond! I am excited for all who are pursuing God and the will of God for their lives. There is no better and more satisfying life than one lived completely for the Lord.
If you participated in the Week of Fire, I strongly encourage you to maintain your spiritual momentum! Momentum is a great friend and will help you reach greater heights in the Lord as you seek to know him more and make him known to as many people as possible. Keep the fire burning in your heart. Do your Bible reading and prayer every day.
Speaking of prayer, if you have not yet started on the exciting journey of seeking and finding God and receiving his answers to your prayers through participation in the 21-Day Prayer and Fasting, I encourage you to do so beginning today. Get a copy of the Fasting Contract (between you and God) and write down your major prayer requests for the year. Then, pray for those concerns every day. And to give more power to your prayers, include some abstinence from food (fasting) so that you can give more time and intensity to your prayers. You will be surprised and delighted at the breakthroughs that will come to your life simply because you prayed with seriousness and focus.
This weekend, we will talk about more attitudes and actions that will bring success this New Year 2016 and beyond. Open your heart to receive a message from the Lord that can change your life. Be willing to make adjustments so that your life can accommodate God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will in your life. Following God is the best way to live. Since God is life, joy, riches, and everything that is good, you will be at your best when you follow him.
The Lord wants 2016 to be your best year so far! And it will happen as you partner with God and do your part!
