Bringing in the Harvest!

We are all familiar with the saying, “Action speaks louder than words”. About 2,000 years ago, the Lord Jesus did some thing that spoke a loud message to the world. He gave his life for the sake of others. He died so that people, who have no way of being reconciled to God because of their sins, can be forgiven and made right with God. By his death, the Lord Jesus declared that spiritually lost people matter greatly to him. Every follower of Jesus must hear this message and, more importantly, respond accordingly. Today, we want to talk about bringing people to God! We will talk about how God wants people to be saved. We will be reminded that we are the people that God has commanded to bring in the harvest of people that Jesus Christ died for on the cross of Calvary. We are being called upon by God to make what is precious to him equally precious to us. The Lord wants you to bear fruit for him. He wants to make you an instrument of his salvation for many people. Say “Yes” to the Master’s call. Devote your life for the expansion of God’s kingdom on the earth. Tell others about the Lord. Practically speaking, this means praying regularly and passionately for spiritually lost people in the different spheres of our lives (home/boarding house, office/business, school, community, etc.). It means rising above our fears and witnessing to others about the salvation that is found only through Jesus Christ. It also involves bringing people to gatherings where they can hear the good news of salvation (like life group meetings, sunday worship celebrations, and special events like WOW Generation Party, iFLY, or Couples Connect).
