2 Corinthians 7:5 … our bodies had no rest, but we were harassed at every turn—conflicts on the outside and fear within. 6 But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us …
Blessed day family, Welcome to the worship celebration today! As always, it’s a joy to see you and worship the Lord together with you! How wonderful it is that at the end of a busy and sometimes very tiring and stressful week, we can huddle in the presence of our Father in heaven and receive His love for the healing of our wounded emotions, the rest for our tired minds, the transfer of life to our dry spirits, and the rejuvenation of our weak bodies. Times in God’s presence are indeed the best times of each week, not-miss moments, and treasures that we should never take for granted. “But God.” Holy Scripture has many such and similar clauses. The Lord knows that our lives are characterized, to extents greater than we wish were true, by drama. On the human and earthy side, there is lack, sickness, hopelessness, and other negative realities. But God loves us and cares for us and helps us. On the divine and heavenly side, there is provision, healing, hope, and many other positive promises and realities from God. We get really discouraged sometimes, but God comforts us. We can get sick, but God heals us. We may lack financially, but God provides for us. God bless you, your family, and your ministry abundantly! With love and prayers, Pastors Lathur and Leah Badoy
