Cultivating a Lifestyle of Passion for God
Acts 13:22 “After removing Saul, he made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found David son of Jess, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.”
Passion for God. Compassion for people. Here at Lighthouse, we really believe in these things. God wants every one to love him much and love people much.
God wants you to love him passionately. He is glorified when you do that. But not only that, you are benefiting when you love God intensely.
When you live for the purpose of loving God, you are being brought closer to him. Because God is the source of life and every blessing, you are most alive and well when you are close to him.
The most secure life, the most fulfilled, and the most peaceful is found only in the Lord. Develop your life for this one goal. Make it your one big ambition. You will bring praise to God and much blessing to yourself.
The Father in heaven loves you. He wants to embrace you and bring the blessings of heaven to you. Be willing to allow him to change you, lift you up, and help you become a godly and happy person. You will he blessed as you allow him to lead you.
