Acts 2:46 - 47 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Life is fun when lived with others. Relationships are what makes life exciting, enjoyable, and rewarding. The Lord wants you and me to be rich in relationships. He wants us to live life with people who care for us and with whom we can pursue similar goals and aspirations.
Today, we continue to our campaign for each member of the Lighthouse family to be involved in a life group, in so far as that is possible or doable. We really believe that involvement in life groups enriches our lives and helps us become the men and women that God wants to become. The sharing of our lives with each other also empowers us to do what God has called us to do. If you become involved in a life group, you will be blessed with so many things from God.
If you are not yet part of a life group, we ask you to seriously consider joining one. Ask someone you know or feel comfortable with at Lighthouse to help you get started on a wonderful journey that will bring many benefits to you. You will not regret it. There probably is a life group that meets not very far from where you live, work, do business, or study. You will likely find a group of fellow Christ-followers who meet on one of the preferred days of the week or times of the day (daytime or nighttime) that you are available on. You may not find a “perfect day and time”, but you can find a schedule that can work out for you.
Few involvements are as life-transforming and empowering as being involved in a small group of like-minded and like-hearted people. You will surely receive good things that will make your life better. And even if you feel you may not receive much from others (although that is doubtful), joining a life group is still a good idea because you can give or share to others who may need your wisdom or other things that the Lord has blessed you with.
Today, we also want to encourage everyone to become instruments of God for life groups to be started where you work, do business, live, or study. You can start a life group yourself, or you can gather people and someone else (your leader or a spiritual brother/sister) will lead the life group. Let us expand the kingdom of God and reach more people through establishing life groups where God has placed us!
May the Lord grant his abundant grace to you and your family today!
