Happy love season! Our world seems to be talking much about love, especially romantic love. Married people are celebrating their love for each other these days through special time together, special gifts, or other expressions of their special affection for each other. Single people are seeking for the love that will thrill them and stay with them for as long as they are alive.
Everyone needs and wants true love. The true authority on love and perfect example of love is the Lord. He does not only do loving things, but his very nature is that he is love (1 John 4:8). No one understands, practices, and teaches love like him. He is the most genuine lover. He truly completes those who give their hearts and lives to him. He satisfies their hearts fully. He is the true source of reliable love.
Today, we want to talk about establishing a deep relationship with God. We want to know how to get closer to this great lover of our souls. We will receive inspiration and power to receive God’s love. And we want to reciprocate by loving God deeply as well. The “love” of humans may fail us, even hurt us deeply. But God’s love will never disappoint us. His love for you and me is perfect.
So it is fitting that we will talk about God, God’s love for us, and our love for God. May your love for God and my love for God grow ever stronger as the years go by. When our hearts are filled by God’s love for us and our love for him, we will be able to love people more and enjoy people more. God is the author of true and genuine love.
