Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
Dear People of God, It is a reason for much joy in our hearts when we gather to lift up God’s glorious name. There are few things on earth like it. A little of heaven actually comes to us and we experience a heavenly delight as our hearts become one with God’s heart in those special moments of adoration and worship. May we never trade being in God’s presence along with God’s people with the lesser pleasures and temporary concerns of this earth. May we be able to say like the psalmists, “A day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.” (Psalm 84:10). The ‘courts” here to the ‘house of God’ which is the place where Christ’s followers assemble to glorify God and hear his message. Our faith in Christ is priceless. It’s value is greater than all the riches of this world. So we must keep it intact and strong until the end. That means that we have to fight for it. The analogy of war is used by Holy Scripture itself. Let us choose our faith in Christ over the approval of people, over the temptations of the world, over the pressures of life, even over our selfish and immature dreams and desires. Fighting for your choice requires a choice, a firm resolve. And there are very important action steps that you and I need to do. But we can do them all because the Lord is helping us. May the Lord richly bless you, your family, and your ministry! With love and prayers, Pastors Lathur and Leah Badoy
