FOLLOWING CHRIST AND FAITHFUL TO THE END
Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace
Everyone follows someone. No exceptions. Who are you following? Your answer to this question has very practical implications. They impact our lives not just on this earth, but even into eternity.
You and I will be wise to follow the Lord. He is the One who is most qualified to lead us. He is the one who is most able to bring us into the great and wonderful futures that we all long for. And the good news is that he cares for us so very much. He is willing to help us find him, and, by doing so, find ourselves.
Following Jesus is a journey. It lasts until the day the Lord takes us or Jesus Christ returns to earth to establish his perfect kingdom. Our decision to follow Christ will be tested. But the Lord will help us so that we make it to the end.
Following Christ involves being faithful in all areas of our lives. The Lord gives us principles in his Word (the Bible) to guide us. When we observe those instructions, you will be able to honor God and make it to the end. You will win the eternal prize and enjoy heaven forever with God and people who love and honor him.
The Lord richly bless you, your family, and your ministry.
