Following Jesus!

Welcome to the worship celebration of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship! Lighthouse is a spiritual family where you can belong! We want Lighthouse to be your home and your family! We are delighted that you came today! We pray that you will have a positive and life-changing experience! Sit back, relax, and receive blessings from the Lord for you and your family! Today’s teaching is entitled, “Following Jesus!” We will talk about what it means to follow Jesus Christ. We want to think about what being a follower of Jesus really involves. And we will do this based on the words of the Lord Jesus himself about being his disciples. There is no greater privilege in this world than to follow Jesus Christ!. No choice will be rewarded with a greater reward! Yet following Jesus is not as some people say it is. Many people follow Jesus for the benefits they get out of it (so that they will be “blessed”). While it is true that there will be unbelievable blessings that will be given to those who follow the Lord, those who follow Jesus for love of self instead of love for God will be disappointed! Following Jesus is about loving Jesus above all, including above ourselves! The Lord wants to touch and bless your life today! Open your heart to him. Allow him to be the leader of your life. Trust in him for your needs, especially for your eternal destiny! He is willing and able to bless you and your family like no one can!
