Giving The Best To God

What does the Lord deserve from the people he made and redeemed? He deserves the best. Because God is great and has done so much good to us, it is just right that we give him the best. God is worthy of the best of our love. He deserves our deepest devotion. God deserves the best of our gifts. Generosity toward God is appropriate and pleases God. The Lord also deserves the best of our loyalty. He deserves that we choose him above anything or anyone. Are you giving God the best? Or are you giving him only the rejects and the left-overs? Are you offering to God the highest quality that you possibly can? Or are you negligent about what you bring to God? Today, let us be reminded that the Lord deserves the best. We owe it to him because he is the one who made us and he gave his life to buy us back from the control of sin. Love for God demands it. It is the most beautiful thing to do. As you make adjustments in your life so that you can give God the very best, you will please the Lord and give you the deepest fulfillment and greatest satisfaction.
