Welcome to the Change Heart Sunday! We are glad that you made it. We prepared for this worship celebration so you can experience God’s love, healing, and power. May you enjoy this time with us as we will surely enjoy it with you. God is in the business of changing us so that we will become more and more like the Lord Jesus in our character and ways. He loves us so much to let us stay in our immature, messed up, or blinded conditions. He wants to set us free from destructive thoughts and attitudes. He desires to heal our wounded hearts and restore our broken relationships. Allow God to do what he wants. Yield to him. You will see a radical transformation as a result, and you will love it. You and I will get hurt in this life. We will also hurt others. So we do well to allow the Lord to help us say a sincere “Sorry” when we’ve done something wrong. We will also be wise in having an attitude of forgiveness so that we do not harbor bitterness against anyone, regardless of how hurt we feel. Thankfully, we are not alone in this process. The Father in heaven helps us. We can live whole and free lives in a world that is full of wounded and bound up people because we have help from heaven. It is not an accident that you are here. The Lord has arranged an appointment with you so he can do a loving work in your heart. Even when there is some pain or discomfort for a brief moment, stay open to God.
