Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Heart attacks. They are a real danger. Heart attacks take many lives each year. Others don’t lose their lives when suffering heart attacks, but they are impaired by them in some real way. Heart attacks must be avoided because they can cause real and permanent damage or loss. In the spiritual and moral areas of our lives, we too can experience heart attacks that can kill or destroy us. Thus, as in the physical area of our lives, we must be healthy so we will suffer spiritual heart attacks. How is your spiritual heart today? Is it clean, healthy, and strong? Or are you suffering from various symptoms that point to some real trouble inside? Are there signs of breakdown? Do you feel spiritually weak, lethargic, or abnormal spiritually or morally? Let’s talk about these today so we can do something in response to God’s voice before it’s too late. The Lord wants to give you abundant life. But the devil wants to steal from you, kill you, and destroy you (see John 10:10). Don’t let the enemy of your soul harm you. Submit to God and resist him, and he will run away from you. Decide to close the door to anything that can contaminate your heart, corrupt it, destroy your purity, and lead you away from God. Break ungodly, unhealthy soul-ties with people who cause you to sin. Come out into the open if you have issues that you need to get help on before a fatal or crippling spiritual heart attack takes. The future can be so bright for you. Let God change your heart so you can have a true and lasting change of life. He will help you. And if you’re willing and will cooperate with him, you will see amazing transformation and freedom come to your life. Lathur Badoy
