How to Prosper Financially
LATEST SUNDAY WORD
Every person wants a measure of financial prosperity. We desire to have all our needs met and have some extra resources to enjoy and share or give to others.
The Lord also wants you and I to enjoy financial prosperity. He is happy when we have everything we need and have extra money to enjoy beyond some basic needs. His plan is also to make us instruments of his love and mercy as we willingly and joyfully give to the work of bringing the good news of salvation to every tribe and nation as well to the needy person/family nearby.
The Bible is God’s manual for you and I to know God and lead lives that please him. The Bible also contains God’s instructions on how we can enjoy God’s provision and peace in the different areas of our lives. You and I will do well to study the Bible and apply what it says to the many areas of our lives.
The keys to living in financial prosperity are found in the pages of the Bible. Today, we will open the Bible and learn what it says about how you and I can enjoy financial freedom and abundance. As we study the principles and commands of God, have a teachable spirit and a heart that wants to apply the truths we will learn or be reminded of. Some of the things we will talk about may not be new to you, but you must determine to actually do them. You and I are blessed if we do or obey what God says in his Word (the Bible).
Be willing to change some of your financial practices. Adjust some of your priorities. Honor God by actually doing what you know is the godly way to handle finances. Good financial practices result to financial prosperity. After we respond by changing our thinking and values on financial management, we will ask the Lord to give us his power through the Holy Spirit so that we can practice healthy, wise, and godly ideas that will lead to financial freedom and prosperity.
