"... remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” (Acts 20:35) The Lord Jesus once said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." That is great wisdom. The world teaches us to keep our finances and possessions to ourselves so as to ensure maximum enjoyment and accumulation of resources for our needs. But Jesus teaches us the less travelled yet more happy road. Today we want to talk about honoring God with our finances and enjoying it. We will be reminded of heaven's ideas for true happiness and prosperity. We will be inspired by stories of planting and harvesting in the area of finances. Giving and honoring are not only godly practices. They are also lifestyles that attract God's blessing and bring much inner satisfaction and visible well-being. The way to be deeply and continuously happy is to follow the way of the Master. Develop giving as a lifestyle. The heavens will open and blessings left and right will come. You will reap much as you sow much. The Lord loves you and wants to bring you his peace and joy! Trust him. Obey him. You'll be thrilled and satisfied like never before.
