If you wish to use a fasting contract (optional), a copy will be provided to you. Some people will fast for 3 days, others for 10 days, while some will go for 14 or 21 days. You choose what kind of fast you will do! Dedicate the first days of this year to seek the will and plans of God for your life.

Why Prayer and Fasting?
In Matthew 6:33, Jesus outlines an order in which our lives can be pleasing to God and fruitful. Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. As a church, beginning January 5, 2020, we are committing the first three weeks of the year to spend some extra time in prayer and fasting seeking the Lord.
Types of Fasts
Fasting honors the Lord. Whatever type and length of fast you choose is between you and God. Seek him and establish a prayer focus during your fast. Fasting is simply refraining from food for a spiritual purpose.
Full Fast
Drink only liquids (you establish number of days)
Daniel Fast
Fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds only, refrain from meat & sweets.
3-Day Fast
This can be a Full Fast, Daniel Fast or give up at least one item of food.
Partial Fast
Give up a food item from sun up to sun down or for a different period of time.
