Welcome to Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, your church, your home, your family! We are thrilled that you were able to come today. There is much that the Lord wants to do in your life. As you open your heart to him today, you will experience his forgiveness, his saving love & power, and his restoring grace. May you experience God in a life-altering way today. Today we want to think and talk about the reasons for living. Someone once said that if a person does not have a cause to die for (something he or she really believes in), he does not have a reason to live for. That may sound too serious, but it actually makes sense. To eat, drink, and be happy for tomorrow we die is a tragic way to live. It is a formula for a life without meaning and significance. What drives you? What keeps you awake at night? What are the things that compel you from the inside to get up every morning and go through your day excited? It can be a desire for money or financial security, a passion to make a name for yourself, or a dream of gaining power or leadership. But as understandable or common as these things may be, they are not really the best reasons for living. The Bible says that living for God as our one magnificent obsession is a great reason to live. It is God’s desire for each and every one of us. Living passionately for God is not just for the religious people or spiritual elites who are the minority in number, but it is for every true follower of God. We see this in the whole of the sacred Scriptures. It is the best way to live. May the Lord become and remain to be the one magnificent obsession of your life. Lathur Badoy
