Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
We live in uncertain times! The recent successive strong earthquakes have somehow reminded us that we are not as secure as we think or want to feel. There are definitely dangers that can come. What do you do when you face fearful times? Do you cower in fear? Do you retreat into a make-believe world where you imagine that things are perfect and no dangers exist? Do you grumble, blame, or get angry? There is a better response! We can turn to God and he will help us. God wants people to trust him, turn to him, and stay close to him. This is a relationship of trust, love, and honor or obedience. This is the wisest choice. It is the way to go. Even when you have messed up and feel unworthy, the Lord is willing to welcome you and help you. Come to him. You will receive grace and mercy, not condemnation and rejection. The recent strong earthquakes and the pronouncement from Philvocs of the situation and the possibility of more and even stronger earthquakes can shake us. Just the thought of those possible scenarios can send chills down our spines. But God is bigger and stronger than earthquakes. He can protect us. So let’s turn to him. The Lord bless you and your family. Lathur Badoy
