Rejoice! Have Hope! Jesus Has Conquered Sin and Death!

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead... Happy Resurrection Day! Today, we celebrate the victory of Christ over sin and death that results to the forgiveness of our sins and the receipt of a right standing with God through Jesus Christ! Today, we celebrate our living hope for everything good and godly, both in this life and, more especially, in the life to come! Just as the death of Jesus Christ was a fact of history, so was his resurrection. Jesus died for your sins and mine, and he rose from among the dead so that we who believe in him and follow him will be counted as righteous in the eyes of God. Jesus’ rising from the grave marked a decisive victory that forever changed the spiritual world, and this victory can be enjoyed by everyone who will turn away from sin and follow Jesus Christ as Lord (Boss). Because Jesus Christ rose from among the dead, victory for every battle and against every enemy is available. Because Jesus defeated sin and death, curses are broken and the kingdom of darkness has no hold over those who believe in and follow Jesus. As a result of Jesus’ rising from death, the spiritual realities that governed life are changed from hopelessness and meaninglessness to great hope and new realities that bring great joy. As the people of the Lord, you and I are entitled to the super-abundant blessings that were made possible because Jesus died for our sins and rose from death. By believing in him and his words, we appropriate the unbelievable blessings of Christ’s resurrection. By doing what God says, you and I ensure that we enjoy the powers and victories of the new age that Jesus brought in. You are very rich in Christ because you have a living Savior! You are so blessed as you serve because you have a victorious Lord! Whatever your needs or problems may be today, the Lord is able to provide for you and give you the victory. You may be going through some serious trials today, but there is much hope. Whatever is “dead” in your life can “live again”. Your spiritual life, family, finances, health, ministry, and other things in your life can experience a miraculous return to life as you trust in God and also do your part! The Lord loves you so much! His Son, Jesus Christ, has purchased all the victories and blessings that you could ever need or ask for. Receive a resurrection in some area of your life today!
