Restoration in the Family

Nehemiah 6:16 “Then all our enemies heard that we had completed the wall, and all the nations around us saw that it was finished. So they lost their courage, because they understood that this had been done with the help of our God.” The Lord is in the business of restoring, not only individual lives, but also families! He loves to heal family relationships. Renewing and strengthening connections within families is something that God does best. Today, we will have the last of our teaching series on the Family! And it is such a blessing to end the 4-week run with a teaching on restoration. Reflecting on some very valuable lessons that can be learned from the story of the rebuilding of the broken walls of the city of Jerusalem in ancient times, we will be empowered and inspired to rebuild our families. As the residents of Jerusalem were able to repair and rebuild the city walls very quickly, so you can restore the closeness and joy of relationships within your family. This may seem impossible with people, but it is always possible with God. If your family is in trouble and you need some help and inspiration to rebuild it, then this message will help you. If you know someone whose family is presently broken, you can receive ideas and faith from this teaching that will equip you to help that family get out of their negative situation. In case your family is going so well and you don’t have close ones who have problematic families, then you can receive teachings that will prepare you for times in the future when you will have conflict in your family. You will be ready to face situations where your family or the family of some people who are close to you will need to be restored.
