The King is coming!
Revelation 11:15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever."
Welcome to the worship celebration today! We are glad that you came. We are believing the Lord for a real touch from heaven on your life.
Today, we will finish our short series of studies on prophecy and the last days. We trust that you are understanding God's plan for the ages. God knows exactly what he wants to accomplish and he has made his will known so that we can respond to and participate in his glorious work. The Father in heaven wants a family (sons and daughters), and he wants a bride for his Son, Jesus Christ. God's family and Christ's bride are one and the same. They are the true followers of God throughout human history. You are part of God's family and Christ's bride if you are a true follower of God.
You and I are living in a time of history where God's purposes are about to be fully accomplished. Unfortunately, since many people refuse to follow God in love and choose to live sinful lives, God has no choice but to punish these people. Satan and some angels who also rebelled against God will also be punished by God. Evil will first reach its climax, but Jesus Christ will intervene at the right time to save his people (the believing Jews and non-Jews) and destroy the wicked. Then, he will establish his rule of righteousness on earth.
We are now seeing the final signs of the coming of the true King, the Lord Jesus Christ, to earth. Evil will increase but so will righteousness. Paradoxically, the world will get better and worse at the same time. Then, an Anti-Christ will arise and lead the world to evil. But God's power will be released against the Anti-Christ and his kingdom. The judgments in the prophetic book of Revelation are mostly judgments on the Anti-Christ and those who follow him. Yes, there will be persecutions on God's people (Jews and non-Jews), but God will empower and protect his people. There will be martyrs for Christ, but as far as God is concerned, they are overcomers because the devil will not be able to force them to worship him or take his mark. The darkest days on earth will also be the most glorious days of God’s people. The church in heaven and on earth will partner with God through prayer for the release of God’s judgments on the Anti-Christ and those who bear his mark.
God will renovate the earth by fire and remove all evil. Then he will rule with perfect righteousness and justice. And we who faithfully served him in this age will rule with him in the next age. God’s kingdom will come on earth. Paradise will be restored, and God and his family will live together in love, truly happily ever after. At that time, there will be “no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. The one who sits on the throne [God our Father] says, “I am making everything new” (Revelation 21:4-5).
It is in the light of God’s glorious plan that “the Spirit and the bride [the church] say, “Come” (Revelation 22:17). And we say, “Amen. Come Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20).
