Staying In The Will Of God
The Lord has a purpose for you! He has a path for you to walk in. You are blessed as you live according to God’s plan for as long as you are alive. There will be distractions and temptations, but you do well stay on course and be found to be good and faithful in the sight of God.
God wants you to remain in his will. He desires for you to remain within the parameters of his revealed purpose and plan. And he helps you to do that through his holy word, the Bible. By reading and obeying the Bible, you will be able to live with integrity. Integrity is being faithful in the small things, raising your personal standard to be like Jesus, being brutal with sin, doing what is right no matter what, and acting honestly whether someone is watching or not. You and I need integrity if we are to stay in the will of God.
Staying in the will of God also requires that we stay focused and not get distracted. Too many people are not focused on pleasing the Father in heaven, and they end up compromising or failing to remain on the right track. Finally, staying in God’s will necessitates that we never give up. There will be discouragements, enemies, and tests. But we must fight the good fight of the faith and stand our ground no matter what. We will persevere when the going gets tough. We will not let go.
