The Many Amazing Benefits of Knowing the Love of God Deeply in Your Heart

Ephesians 3:17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. Welcome to our special Encounter Sunday! We are genuinely glad that you were able to come. The Lord has many good things prepared for you today. So open your heart and allow him to come in. Let him work in you and change you so that you can become more and more like his Son, Jesus Christ. The love of God is more than a good religious idea. It is a very powerful and life-changing truth. When you experience the love of God through the miraculous or supernatural working of the Holy Spirit, you will be changed. And when you continue to allow the Holy Spirit to bring you deeper in your experience of the love of God, you will be further changed until you enjoy more and more of the amazing benefits of having your life filled with God’s love. The love of God stabilizes our lives. It gives us security and assurance like nothing or no one can. It can strengthen us to face rejection or judgment. And when we think of death, the love of God gives us boldness to see it as a positive thing instead of something to be terrified of. Do you know the love of God deeply in your heart? Are you growing in your experience of it? If you do, you will have a real measure of invincibility and toughness against trials and shakings. On the other hand, if you only know it intellectually or you only have a shallow experience of it, you will be unstable when the storms of life come. Today the Lord wants to give you his love! He wants you to experience it in a deeper way. And he wants to set you on a path of growing deeper in the experience of that love every day of your life. Open your heart and receive God’s love today.
