Your Perfect Heavenly Father

We thank God for our fathers and mothers. We honor them as God’s instruments of bringing us into this world and rearing us to become what we are today. We owe them so much. There are no perfect parents. They tried and continue to try to do their best, but they fail every now and then. I know I can say that of myself as a parent. I deeply love my son, but I hurt and fail him even when I am giving my best. It’s because I am human and imperfect. My earthly father loves me, but, like every human father, he has failed me at certain times. This is the truth about earthly fathers (and mothers). Thankfully, we have a spiritual Father who is perfect. Our Father in heaven deals with us without failure or imperfection. He never loses his temper toward us. He never forgets his promises or fails to fulfill them. He does not get too busy or occupied to give each one of us individual attention. He is not unreasonable or abusive. He gives good things to us in generous amounts. Your heavenly Father accepts you as you are. He delights in you. He also disciplines you for your own good. Today, let’s get to know our perfect heavenly Father as he really is. Let us let go of wrong beliefs, attitudes, and feelings toward God. Perfect sya! Yan ang totoo. At perfect ang love nya sa yo!
