Romans 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
A happy day to you! We are glad and thrilled that you came today! The Lord wants to do something good in your life, and you are in a good place at a good time! You will not leave this place empty-handed. As you open your heart to God, he will touch you and bless you today. The rule or kingdom of God is an awesome thing. When a person submits to the authority (Lordship) of Christ over his or her life, God comes to him in the person of the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit is allowed to work in a person’s life to accomplish the good will or purpose of God, the result is righteousness, peace, and joy. We live in a world that does not really know what is true and right, and therefore pursues wrong things. But when we are truly saved by God (from sin and its evil and deadly effects and consequences), we are brought into the right paths which will produce the right (or righteous) results in our lives. The Holy Spirit sets us free from guilt, curse, and other negative things. He does a great initial work of deliverance at the time we gave our lives to him, and we get deeper into the freedom he gives by cooperating with him in the completion of the removal of things in our lives that bind or limit us and that hurt or destroy us. The result of freedom that the Spirit of God gives is peace. It’s a deep sense of well-being and security that is not easily affected by external circumstances. We feel okay when things are going good and also when things seem to be uncertain or tough. And when we submit to the leadership of the Holy Spirit, he fills us with joy. This is not superficial fun or laughter that is all too common, but the joy from deep within that is stable and consistent. When the Holy Spirit controls your life, you will continually increase in joy. You will be happy always - even when you are going through some serious trial in your life or family. Today, may the Lord fill you with his righteousness, peace, and joy as you open your heart to him! May God’s super-abundant blessings come to you and your family this week and beyond! Lathur Badoy
